Christopher is the founder and the Managing Director of Afro-Kai Ltd, an agro-commodity Processing company
which has been in existence for the last 40 years and founding member of FICA Seeds which has grown
to be a household name in the Seed Industry in Uganda and the region.
Christopher has contributed to the agricultural sector growth in East Africa being on several advisory,
policy and regulatory boards in the agricultural community not only in Uganda but in East Africa.
He is the founding Member and current chairman Board of Directors of The Grain Council of Uganda (TGCU),
The Chairman of Maize and Beans platform and a founding member of the Uganda National Commodities Exchange
(UNCE), current board chairman for FICA SEEDS Ltd and has participated on several government policy
regulatory boards on Agricultural in the country including but not limited to: AGRA, NAADS, MAAIF, NARO
and many others.
Pearl is the charged with responsibility to Oversee the day to day Business Operations, Streamlining business operations and processes, Developing and Implementing structures and systems that ensure business continuity, Identifying potential opportunities for new business that ensure that the company’s market share growth, Improving the value chain that it continues to deliver satisfaction to participants and final consumer, developing and sustaining the company’s human capital, through effective recruitment, training, and implementation of an acceptable code of conduct, Participate in budgetary planning and implementation, Implementing the company’s strategic plan and monitoring company financial performance through cost analysis and review of department operations.
Prim holds BS (Hons) in Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Global Business & Human Resource Management
and minor in Psychology from Saint Mary’s University in Canada.
She Oversees Organizational Structure forecasts, current needs, Staffing and Selection, Recruitment & Training,
Maximizing Human Resources & ensure their ongoing development. She is also in charge of all of Afro-Kai’s
Admin roles & staff welfare.
